Abstrak:

The current study aimed to determine the effect of prenatal yoga activities on the anxiety level of primigravida pregnant women in preparation for childbirth. The research approach used in this research is a literature review combined with QuasiExperiment and Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT). Source: A literature search was conducted using five databases, Science Direct, Google Scholar, and Pubmed, covering publications from 2018 to 2023. Papers were selected based on specific criteria using a prism, which included evaluation of title, abstract, and full text. The feasibility of each study was reviewed, and the findings were compiled and analyzed. Ten journals that met the inclusion criteria were identified in the search results. Based on an analysis of 10 studies using Quasi Experiments and Randomized Controlled Trials (RCT), it is proven that the majority of first-time pregnant women in the third-trimester experience anxiety when they are about to give birth. This research shows that doing prenatal yoga exercises can effectively reduce anxiety levels in pregnant women. Conclusion: Prenatal yoga is the right solution for pregnant women who experience anxiety.
